The ITI World Symposium is held in San Diego, CA

More than 2,000 attendees from 45 countries converged in San Diego to attend this two and a half day program, making the bi-annual event one of the largest meetings in history dedicated exclusively to implant dentistry.
2005
Straumann opens new North American headquarters, education center and production facility in Andover, MA

Located just 25 miles north of downtown Boston, Andover houses Straumann’s first manufacturing unit outside Switzerland which produces high precision implants and components for tooth replacement.
With training and education being central to Straumann’s philosophy, the west coast training center was relocated to the new facility which is equipped with a 35,000-square-foot, world-class training center incorporating multiple operating suites with television links, a simulation laboratory, dental lab facilities and a lecture theater/auditorium.

The ITI World Symposium is held in New York, NY

More than 3,000 participants from across world met at the ITI World Symposium in New York to participate in three days packed with outstanding scientific presentations on risk factors, treatment planning, esthetics, and loading protocols. One of the most prestigious meetings in the field of implant dentistry and related tissue regeneration, the ITI World Symposium 2007 featured over 90 experts and opinion leaders in the field of implant dentistry to lead discussion, share clinical results and observations in over 80 presentations. By recognizing sound scientific evidence as a prerequisite to treatment methods, the event solidified the ITI and Straumann’s belief that clinically documented, scientifically validated results are a requisite to providing optimal patient care in implant dentistry.
