(September 2, 2013) – As part of our continuous effort to provide dental laboratories with best-in-class products, we are happy to announce two product enhancements to our CARES portfolio.
Straumann extends their CARES zirconia portfolio to feature 9 new CARES zerion LT shades, ranging from pure white to dark yellow. The new shades can be used for final restorations including crowns, bridges, and the CARES® Variobase™ Abutment, a titanium-alloy bonding base with a ceramic coping. CARES laboratories benefit from expanded shade options to achieve the desired esthetic shade match for individual patient situations.
Processing procedures for zerion do not change. All customers running software versions ranging from CARES 6.2 Linux to the latest CARES 8.0 can perform a complimentary software update to receive these new shade options.
Steve Sheehan, Vice President Laboratory Division Straumann North America, commented: “We have a leading materials portfolio for our CARES laboratories to leverage. Earlier this year, we launched full contour CARES zerion HT to meet the growing demand for full-contour solutions, and the shade expansion of our zerion LT portfolio reflects our commitment to continually provide new products and services that our laboratory customers require to remain competitive within their marketplace.”
