October 11 – 13, 2012 | Dallas, Texas

Straumann’s annual laboratory customer conference convened in Dallas, Texas, for two days of strategic business building activities, best practice sharing, networking, and an exclusive preview of Straumann’s upcoming product launches for 2013.  Laboratory owners and technicians listened as Straumann EVP, Head of North America, Andy Molnar, presented Straumann’s Vision 2020 and outlined the company’s commitment to digital dentistry for the dental laboratory.  Attendees remarked how they appreciated the visibility to Straumann’s long-term strategic approach and felt confident that they were aligned with the right dental company for years to come.

More than products, Straumann offers customers a series of support services and marketing materials to help customers develop their businesses. A special presentation from DevRight Company founder and ITI Fellow Dr. Brody Hildebrand took audience members through the fundamentals to create compelling presentations for referring clinicians and offered many photography tips to document cases.

Dr. Russell Giordano, Chair of the ADA Committee on Zirconia Standards, delivered a keynote presentation on material science that sparked a lively Q & A session amongst attendees and left a lasting impression. Laboratory technicians remarked that Dr. Giordano’s presentation was technically solid from start to finish, and included a wealth of practical information that will strengthen the relationships they have with referring clinicians.

With a strong focus on Straumann’s materials and applications, Chris May, CDT, led the audience through a series of cases and techniques he uses daily in his 30-person lab, May Dental Arts, Fenton, MO.  Technicians found the presentation quite useful for their day-to-day experiences on the bench and valued the technical expertise brought to ease case overview.
